1
Horse Riding Lessons
We offer beginner English and Western riding lessons in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Our adaptive riding program is designed for individuals with emotional, mental, or physical
disabilities, helping riders build confidence, balance, independence, and connection through
horsemanship.
Lessons are currently offered at:
• Rose O Sharon in Makanda, IL
• Wildfire Ranch in Ewing, IL
2
Stable Moments
Stable Moments is a ground-based equine-assisted learning program created specifically for children who have experienced foster care, adoption, trauma, or instability.
Through structured activities with horses, children develop essential life skills including emotional awareness, confidence, healthy relationships, responsibility, self-regulation, and trust.
Each child receives an individualized plan and participates in activities designed to
strengthen resilience, connection, and personal growth in a safe and supportive
environment.
